The BUITONI® Artful Feast Sweepstakes (“Sweepstakes”) is sponsored by The Reader’s Digest Association, Inc. (“Reader’s Digest” or “Sponsor”). Sweepstakes begins at 12:00AM ET May 19, 2009 and ends 11:59PM ET December 31, 2009

 

1. ELIGIBILITY: Sweepstakes open to legal residents age 21 and older at the time of entry of the United States, its territories and possessions. Employees and members of the immediate families of employees of Reader’s Digest, Nestlé USA, Nestlé Prepared Foods Company and any affiliated or subsidiary companies, judging agents and promotion partners (together, the “Promotional Parties”) are not eligible. Sweepstakes is governed by the laws of the U.S.A. Sweepstakes is void where prohibited by law. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply.

 

2. HOW TO ENTER: You can enter this Sweepstakes via the Internet. Please go to www.TasteofItalianArt.com and follow the online entry instructions. There will be a total of six (6) First Prizes, one awarded each approximate month and one Grand Prize (see Prize Period schedule below for dates and times). There are six (6) entry periods for First Prizes (the “First Prize Periods”), and there is one entry period for the Grand Prize (the “Grand Prize Period”):

There is only one (1) entry per person/email address/residential address per First Prize Period and plus one (1) entry per person/email address/residential address for the Bonus Grand Prize Period permitted.  Each time you enter for a chance to win during one of the First Prize Periods, you will also be entered in the Grand Prize drawing.  There is a maximum of seven (7) Grand Prize entries per person/email address/residence address, but you must enter each of the six First Prize Period and the Bonus Grand Prize Period to achieve all seven (7) Grand Prize entry opportunities. If you miss entering a First Prize Period or the Grand Prize Bonus Period, you will not be provided a Grand Prize entry for that Period.  To be eligible for any Prize Period, including the Grand Prize Period, entries must be received by the end date of each Prize Period.

 

All entries become the property of the Sponsor and will not be returned.  If multiple entries in each Prize Period are received, only the first entry will be included and later entries will be disqualified. Each Prize Period entry has an equal chance to win, in both that Prize Period drawing and in the Grand Prize drawing.  Any dispute regarding submission of an online entry will be deemed submitted by the authorized account holder of the email address used at the time of entry.  “Authorized account holder” is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an email address by an internet access provider, online service provider, or other organizations (e.g. business, educational institute) that is responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted email address. Sponsor, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to disqualify any person tampering with the operation of the website or the entry process.
 
3. PRIZES: One (1) Grand Prize of two parts. Part one is an in-home dinner party for up to ten (10) people total. The dinner party will be prepared and served by a caterer of Sponsor’s chosing, and will include a maximum of three (3) courses (appetizer, entrée, dessert), with Sponsor choosing the menu.  All aspects of the party are at Sponsor’s full discretion. Part two of the Grand Prize is an original work of art created by Gianni Toso.  The Total Approximate Retail Value (ARV) of the Grand Prize is $2,000.00. Six (6) First Prizes will be awarded, one per Prize Period.  Each First Prize will consist of a work of art created by Gianni Toso and VIP BUITONI® coupons redeemable for products. Approximate Retail Value of each First Prize is $500.00. Total Approximate Retail Value of all First Prizes are $3,000.00.  Total Approximate Retail Value of all prizes awarded is $5,000.00.  The prizes are not transferable cannot be assigned, substituted or redeemed for cash. Sponsor reserve the right to substitute a similar prize of equal or greater value in the event that the stated prize cannot be awarded due to circumstances beyond the control of the Sponsor.  All taxes, if any, are the sole responsibility of the winners. None of the Promotional Parties nor their affiliates,  subsidiaries, or agencies will be responsible for any loss, liability or damage arising out of the winner’s acceptance or use of the any of the prizes.

 

4. SELECTION OF WINNERS:  Winners will be selected by random drawing from all eligible entries by an independent judging agency on or about the following dates:

First Prize Period 1: July 6, 2009
First Prize Period 2: August 7, 2009
First Prize Period 3: September 7, 2009
First Prize Period 4: October 9, 2009
First Prize Period 5: November 6, 2009
First Prize Period 6: December 7, 2009
The Grand Prize drawing:  On or about January 8, 2009.

 

By entering the Sweepstakes, entrants accept and agree to these rules and the decision of the judges, which shall be final. Approximate odds of winning any of the First Prizes are 1 in 60,000.  Approximate odds of winning Grand Prize are 1 in 420,000.  Winners will be notified by mail (and those with known email addresses may be notified by email as well) within thirty (30) days of the drawing and may be required to execute a Statement of Eligibility and Release and Payment Authorization within thirty (30) days of prize notification attempt or Winner will be disqualified and prize may be awarded to an alternate winner.  Return of prize or prize notification as undeliverable will result in disqualification and an alternate winner may be selected. Entry and/or acceptance of prize(s) constitutes permission for the Promotional Parties and their agencies to use the winner’s name, address (city and state) and/or likeness for advertising and trade purposes without further compensation or authorization, worldwide and in perpetuity, in any and all forms of media, now known and hereafter devised, unless prohibited by law.

 

5. CONDITIONS: By entering, participants agree to be bound by these complete Official Rules. Sponsor, is not liable for, late, lost, delayed, damaged, misdirected, incomplete, garbled or jumbled, stolen, postage due mail or illegible entries or for printing, distribution or production errors. Sponsor is not liable for any technical malfunctions of any telephone network or lines, computer internet system, servers or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any email on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the internet or at any website, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to participant’s or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from participation or downloading any materials in this sweepstakes, or other technical difficulties or failures or other errors of any kind.  Sponsor is not responsible or liable for any injury or damage to an entrant’s or third person’s computer and/or its contents, related to or resulting from Sweepstakes.  Any person attempting to defraud or in any way tamper with this Sweepstakes will be ineligible for prizes and may be prosecuted to the full extent of the law.   Sponsor reserves the right to terminate or modify the sweepstakes at any time for any reason. In such circumstances prizes will be awarded based on entries received to date of termination.  All prizes will be awarded.
